The game we play
When working on a project, it’s usual to be consumed in the trenches of executing. After all, you’re a doer, you get shit done, you deliver, often with taste. And we should give our kudos and respect to anyone that delivers value; as it’s not a given by any means. That said, as with all things in life, there’s a meta game at play in which we participate; consiously or -much more frequently- subconciously.
The game we should play
There’s a famous ancient greek saying from Irakleitos, “τα πάντα ρει” / “the world is in flux”, which is manifested by the fact that, until now, you have been becoming the person that delivers this project. While you were consumed building things, you had been building the thing that builds the things. This is the game we play. Let’s play it conciously.
This blog is concerned with the thing that builds the thing.
